Pressing the 'W' key will automatically open the Quick Selection or Magic Wand Tool so you can “outline” or select specific parts of your image. This temporary Hand Tool will help you move selections and shapes to the position you want without leaving your current tool. Press the 'Space Bar' to temporarily switch your cursor to the Hand Tool, regardless of which tool is currently open.
